YOUTH QUAKE ROCKED!
Evangelical sent 56 kids/chaperones to the Baltimore Youth Quake January 11-13. This annual gathering was held again this year at the Hunt Valley Marriott and welcomed hundreds of youth and adults from around the Delaware-Maryland Synod. Awesome music and dancing. Captivating speakers sharing the Gospel. People on fire with the love of God.
The usual response to these kinds of weekends is that everyone is exhausted, but they have that look of pure joy when they step out of the van upon returning home.
I've found that, often, God will bless us and change us when we GATHER. Of course, He blesses us in moments of solitude too, but the times when we're gathered around Word and Sacrament are extra special.
