This is a taste of our lovely stained glass windows and the work that Shenandoah Art-Glass and Restorations, LLC is doing.
1) Worship
Worship is central to our life as followers of
Jesus Christ! It is the place where we gather together
to praise God for all that we have and the hope that
has been made known to us in the death and
resurrection of Jesus. It is the place where the Holy
Spirit lifts us up through Word, Sacrament, and the
community of faith. We welcome you to worship at
Evangelical this week!
2) Discipleship
Discipleship describes the natural outgrowth of a
relationship with the Living Lord. Jesus calls people
to follow and learn from Him. We are called to learn
from Jesus and at Evangelical Lutheran Church there
are many opportunities to learn in Sunday School,
Bible studies, Wednesday evening study (Oasis), etc.
We welcome you to grow as a disciple at Evangelical
this week!
3) Ministry
God gives every person special spiritual gifts and
when we use them we are engaged in Ministry. Perhaps
God has given you the gift of mercy, knowledge,
leadership, generosity, teaching, music, artistry, or
others? We welcome you to discover your gifts at
Evangelical and join us in ministry this week!
4) Outreach
Jesus said, "Go therefore to all nations baptizing
them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."
These words remind us that we are on a mission from
God and we are always interested in welcoming people
to the life changing relationship with the Lord. We
welcome you to join this welcoming spirit at
Evangelical this week!
5) Fellowship
Living as a Christian is meant to be a team sport.
Life in faith is so much richer when we walk the road
of life together. Therefore, at Evangelical we provide
many places where you can make friends and be blessed
by a fellowship of love, mercy, and hope. We welcome
you into our fellowship in Christ this week!
