The 23rd Annual Frederick Houses of Worship Candlelight Tour is set for Monday, December 28, 2009. This tour is sponsored by the Tourism Council of
Frederick County and several local businesses.

Once again, our church is participating in this wellattended event, and we could be welcoming more than 2,000 visitors to the ELC sanctuary, from 4 to 9 p.m.

The candlelight tour is one of the city’s most popular annual events, and we will be offering five hours of beautiful music in addition to historical information. Below is a schedule of music offerings:

• 4-5 p.m. Jessica Bobb, Organist
• 5-6 p.m. Combined Chamber and Chancel Choirs
• 6-7 p.m. Evangelical Bells
• 7-8 p.m. Frederick Flute Choir
• 8-9 p.m. Brenda Weiser, Organist

Trunk Hall will serve as one of the Hospitality Centers for the tour. ELC’s participation this year is headed by Joanne Baum, general chairman (301-845-7758); Peggy Crum is coordinating the volunteer greeter team (301-845-4877); and Debra Baker is looking for help in the Hospitality Center (301-905-7703).

Besides people, the event team is looking for donations of cookies, brownies, cakes and other goodies to keep all of our visitors happy. Anyone able to donate food can bring it to Trunk Hall by noon on December 28, or drop them off at the church office or in the Trunk Hall kitchen (please mark them as Candlelight Tour
donations).
