Angels

Throughout Scripture Angels are mentioned many times.  The word "angel" is basis of word "evangelical".  Some favorite meanings of angel include:

1. Someone who brings God's "good news" to others.
2. Someone who helps other's in God's name but does not take personal credit.

ELC is blessed with:

Garden AngelsThese angels help take care of the beautiful gardens throughout the church campus. Meeting during the growing season on Saturday mornings around 8:15 a.m. there is always room for another set of willing hands. Come for an hour or the whole day!

Hammer AngelsThese angels arrive Wednesday mornings to take care of all of the “Handyman” work that seven 100 year old buildings can throw at them. Enjoying each other’s company and a cup of coffee too, this is a great group! No need to call ahead, just show up and they will be sure to put you to work!

Office Angels - These angels come in each and every week day to help answer the phones, stuff bulletins, create new member gifts, and generally help out the office staff in any way they possibly can.  No need to ask them, they just jump it and do it!
